The Estate is currently under-going a £6million face-lift including an upgrade to the wedding facilities for the 2011 season. You'll be pleased to know we do have some availability in 2011 but most Saturdays across June, July & August have already been booked although you might want to consider a Friday wedding instead and make a weekend of it! Dine offers exclusive use of the Riding School at Nostell Priory for your wedding, corporate or private event. The beautiful Top Hall situated in the main house itself is the perfect setting for a Civil Ceremony with immediate access onto the main balcony, providing you and your a lovely view of the estate before moving on to your drinks reception in the Rose Garden.
NEW FOR 2011 - THE ORANGERY
Nostell Priory & Dine are delighted to be offering a completely new space for wedding ceremonies, receptions and corporate events as part of the rennovation plans. "The Orangery" is situated adjacent to the Riding School itself with direct access into the Rose Garden and Riding School. For the first time wedding parties in particular will be able to take advantage of this stunning room, with beautiful views of the Rose Garden and with the added benefit of the orangery style windows offering a perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. As part of the renovation work we are opening a new room accessed from the Orangery especially for our bride's to change in, apply those all important finishing touches or just leave some bags in on the big day. This spectacular venue is coupled with our award-winning food and service, allowing you to relax and enjoy the day. The Riding School offers a unique but also funcitional room for conferences, with three further break-out rooms available. If you've not been fortunate enough to visit the Estate then it's certainly worth doing so. Nostell Priory is a magnificent 18th Century house nestling in the heart of the West Yorkshire countryside.
Still the family home of Lord and Lady St Oswald, Nostell Priory combines an unusual mixture of rococo and classical styles with sumptuous State Rooms containing over 100 pieces of Chippendale furniture alongside timeless paintings by such renowned artists as Van der Borcht and Pieter Brueghel
Away from the House itself, take a stroll in the tranquil gardens through exquisitely coloured, rose-scented pathways leading to an ancient archway which opens up an entire new world in the form of majestic lakes and captivating scenery.
