We recently held my husbands 40th birthday dinner party at The Mansion and I have to tell you that it was an excellent experience!
From the initial meeting with Jenni and Michael to discuss options, with the additional challenges of it being a surprise and Jon being a wine buff, through to the Tasting dinner and then the actual event were all conducted very professionally but also with warmth , personality and interest.

I was just wanting to thank you and your staff for an exceptional day, we had our civil ceremony at The Mansion Leeds and we were looked after by Michael, he was very helpful when we were looking for a venue and recommended other services that were just as professional as yours to make our day AMAZING.
Michael and the staff at Roundhay were professional, courteous, friendly and far exceeded our expectations for the day, all our guests commented on how professional the staff were and how lovely the venue was, and everyone had a wonderful day.

Dear Michael and
I’m writing to thank you both for our Wedding at The Mansion on Saturday 29th July – it was one of the best days of our lives!
Everything about the day – from the wonderful ceremony; the drinks on the terrace (with the seemingly endless jugs of Pimms); the sumptuous summer buffet (the beef was gorgeous) to the friendly and amazingly attentive staff – was delivered with incredible attention to detail and true professionalism. A number of us joked about your earpieces making you resemble CIA secret agents but I can see why you wear them as everything appeared so effortless with everything always in the right place at the right time.
We’d also like to pay a big thank you to the bar staff, waitresses and head waiter for not only being great at their jobs but also being genuinely warm characters who made all of us (including the hordes of kids) feel really welcome an special.
Obviously with a venue as beautiful and well positioned as The Mansion we were expecting a memorable event but the high quality of service, food and friendly ambience ensured that the day truly exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is that it’s over and we can’t do it all again….
Once again – on behalf of ourselves, our children, and our bowled over guests – thank you, thank you, thank you.

Off away now for a few days well earned rest. Just wanted to say what a lovely day we all had including the bride who is the fussiest person in the world. There wasn't a bad word said everyone complimented the food, the setting the decorations and of course the staff who served the food wonderfully, the weather was also was brilliant, did you order that too?
All the traumas we had seem insignificant now as the day was perfect and in a lot of ways I'm pleased we had to change as I think the Mansion suited us better, it is a beautiful building which has been restored to a high standard and the staff are one of the good bits as they behave so well, not just professional but caring too. So from the bottom of my heart thank you Craig, please pass my compliments on to James and his team, and feel assured I would not hesitate to recommend your services.

Memorable 80th Birthday Party at The Mansion
You, James and all the staff at The Mansion want to be congratulated for the courteous and efficient way you looked after me for my 80th Party - from the reception, through to the delicious meal and the lovely setting and venue - thank you all so very much.
I'm not going to repeat all the complementary remarks my thank you letters contained as it would make you far too big headed! But my word, they were also very impressed...You certainly have lovely young, smiley waiting staff - well drilled too - please thank them and of course the magnificent Chef, the food was perfection; and I have eaten in some pretty fabulous places but yours was on an equal par.

From the very first time we looked around the Mansion to when we picked up all our 'lefts overs' this afternoon we knew we made the right decision in choosing the Mansion as our wedding venue. Michael, you have the ability to make us feel so special, like you only have our wedding to coordinate and think about, yet you provide such a slick service it is very clear to see that this is a very well polished routine!
We had so many comments from our guests over the day on the venue itself, the high quality food produced for so many people, and overall the service that you provided - it was all absolutely faultless. We knew from our previous meeting with you that it was going to be a great day, but it really went way beyond our already high expectations!

A beautiful setting
Dear Sir/Madam,
I just wanted to drop you a line to say a very big thank you for a fantastic day on 1st August when we dined with you for my brother in law's 40th birthday lunch. The food and service was first class.
I was the lady with the food intolerances and I know how awkward if can be for a busy kitchen to deal with this but it was wonderful to be made to feel normal with a choice of lovely dishes. Please can you extend a big thank you from me to the chef - it really was appreciated. I'd also like to say how great Jan was and the rest of the front of house staff. The service couldn't be faulted and we felt very 'looked after.

I rang you yesterday at The Mansion as we’d got back form mini-mooning in
I think I remember throwing my arms around you and asking whether I needed to tell you that I’d had the best day of my life, or whether you already knew from the ridiculous smile on my face… but what I really wanted to express is what an amazing job you and your team did, not only on the day, but everything you had involvement in. Every single guest commented on the quality of the food, the venue itself, the general flawless organisation of the day and it was all down to you and we can’t thank you enough.
I genuinely wouldn’t have changed a thing about our day and I bet most brides don’t say that… I know we’re the luckiest people in the world to have a day as perfect. James told me you were always one step ahead, in every part of the day, and I feel bad for being completely oblivious to it! But I guess that’s how it was supposed to be. I just hope we didn’t cause you too much trouble or work or grief, and that everyone was well behaved throughout the day?
I’ve already convinced James to have our 25 Wedding Anniversary at the Mansion and he’s already booked the band! (they were my other Hero’s of the night…awesome). We’ve got a little token for you to say a proper thank you so we’ll pop up with that at some point soon.
We’ll have 24/7 sketched in our hearts forever, not just because of the vows we made, but because it was the best day of our lives.

Dear Michael,
Fiona and I would like to put on record formally how delighted we were with the way you and your team handled the planning and execution of our wedding reception in November. I believe we were the seventh wedding after the completion of the renovation works, but at no point before or during the day did we sense any teething problems or inexperience in any of your team. I think that the most impressive aspect of the service you provided was your ability to do absolutely everything our way, and to fit all our requests into the venue and your handling of the day. Our guests frequently commented on how bespoke and tailored the day seemed to be, and on how impressively all the parts of the reception integrated together. Fiona and I were also extremely grateful for all the advice and recommendations you gave us as we were planning the day - at times it felt as though you were our wedding planner as well as the co-ordinator of the reception. We would like to express how amazing a job we think Dine has done with the renovations at The Mansion. You have created a modern and chic venue, while always remaining sympathetic to the character and needs of the building itself. The result is unquestionably the best-look and most impressive of all the wedding venues we looked at, whether in London or Yorkshire. We hope it came across on the day that Fiona and I had a wonderful time at our wedding, and everyone at the Mansion played a huge part in ensuring that it was such a success. What a surprise!
We just had to write to say what a wonderful place and team you have here. We attended a wedding last week at the Mansion for the first time in many years and, I have to say, with some trepidation! We both remember the Mansion in years gone by, it used to be such a wonderful place but had become very tired and sad just recently. You must have worked so hard because it is hardly recognisable now, absolutely beautiful, just as it was always meant to be. On top of that the food and your waiting staff are so good and friendly too. We have both been to quite a number of weddings over the years and this certainly stood out for all the right reasons.
